Worst portion of chips to date, taste like they've been sat there all day. Threw out for the birds. Quality of food has deteriorated over the last 2 years. Won't be wasting my money again.
It was a very chilly and extremely wet day. We were on a flying visit to Bideford and desperate for a quick hot lunch. We were greeted and seated straight away. The service was excellent and the food was hot and tasty. We ordered the light bite meals which were still a generous portion.
Amazing fish and chips. Best ive ever had. Not usually a chippy person because coventry serves rubbish fish an chips. But if I lived here I'd get fish every day. Thank you. Service was excellent too.
The grilled cod is wonderful with very nice chips. In fact all their food is good.nNo atmosphere and poor service, but a great place for a quick fish dinner
We enjoyed our large cod and chips at lunchtime, no queue! However, we are sat outside the pub next door this evening, and there is a long queue. Be prepared to wait and enjoy.nPS, even the seagulls left us alone
