The fish was recooked as if it were from previous days and tasted like rubber, the breading tasted like old oil, apparently they sell food and what they have left over they heat in the same old oil. the worst fish i've ever tasted
Wednesday night visit. Very quiet, no atmosphere in the shop. No customers. The lady was friendly but they didn't have much choice. The chips were ok but not the best I've had. Fairly cheapFood: 3/5
Was catching the ferry at North Shields back to Germany so needed fish and chips for our dinner for me and the wife. Very friendly staff fresh fish and chips cooked. On the ferry later the fish and chips was beautiful could not off asked for anything better
Whenever I go in nobody is ever at front of house.... They are always lurking out the back. On last 3 visits, chips have been old and look like they are cooked in crude oil. Avoid this placeFood: 1/5
My colleague went at lunch time today the chips were disgusting probably recooked to heat them from last night as they were swimming in grease and tasted like the oil was dirty the sausage was older than time it could of been used to resole a boot, won't returnFood: 1/5
Absolutely horrific, I even know the owners son and he is an absolute disgrace, he had a poo in my downstairs toilet and didn't even flush, dirty dirty man. However the fish and chips were very nice indeed and the manager appears to be an upstanding member of the community.

I went in there and asked for a fish cake and chips. It took 25 minutes for them to cook the fish cake. I thought to myself "This must be the greatest fish cake on earth". After getting the fish cake I was informed by the work colleague who I ordered it for that the fish cake was good.
1 star because zero isn't available. Chips not cooked fully, fish not either. Then when I called to feedback, was told "well, everyone loves my chips" won't be returning.
My 11 year old son and his friend went in for food and pop they gave them vimto which they didnt want and when they said they didnt want it they said once touched no returns. By the time they told me they had already opened the bottle so I couldnt return it. It's an absolute disgrace just because there children they thought they could take advantage. We were regular customers there but after that not anymore and I wont be recommending them for anyone else
