This is a locals pub, circa 1965, with the decor to match. The drinks make weatherspoons look pricey. Cheap and cheerful, rough and ready, good atmosphere, a 'part of the community ' kind of pub.
That was the crappest Sunday dinner I’ve ever had. Just a plate of tasteless mush followed by cheesecake soup. Very disappointing. Cheap but you get what you pay for!
Nice bar, good atmosphere
Had my Nannas wake here today and I honestly can't thank the staff enough for everything they did for us. Nothing was a bother for them! They did the buffet for such a reasonable price and provided so much more than we expected. The food was lush especially the home-made pie which everyone raved about! Thankyou again ladies! You made such a difficult day so much easier for our family.
Proper old skool pub with decent prices for pints and decent people, don’t expect fruits in your cocktails but expect some belta banter! Up the Maure!
Great local family-ran pub with a good range of largers and ales. The Sunday lunch was excellent quality with a variety of meats and a seasonal selection of veg. This is always helpful when out with a fussy eater. Overall, the staff experience was friendly and equally proffesional with the manager Maureen I believe answering customer queries in a polite and friendly manner. We will visit again.
We went for Sunday dinner. They had a choice of lamb, chicken and beef. They did a special for o.a.p's that included a desert. It was one of the nicest Sunday dinners I have had and was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going again.

Just ordered 3 Sunday lunches for 2pm today, they came bang on time, and they were very tasty,loads of veg, meat and gravy, very large portions ,would recommend ,also reasonably priced
Really good food and very much value for money. Staff are very friendly. I would recommend for all to come and try.
