I loved this place. Local lore suggests it’s for Welsh speakers only, but as a fellow Celt they tolerated me and we had good chat about minority languages. I wish I was there now to he honest.

Nice little pub, very quaint & cosy, not much breathing room, particularly if the uni sports teams are out. Pool table in the back is great, but some shots can be tricky with the walls . Staff are always friendly & drinks are pretty reasonable.

Nice, friendly place to go for a few drinks including lovely local real ales at reasonable prices. Well worth the walk up the hill.

This is the best pub in upper Bangor, hands down. Small and intimate, great set of regulars, nice staff, great pool and darts area. Good for watching the football/rugby. Toilets need a bit of work, but otherwise top marks.

Great pub. Lovely staff and the owner is a sound guy. Great for a game of pool or to watch the sport. Really cosy and authentic inside.
