The lunch today was excellent. Very helpful staff. The whole place is partitioned by screens, so you can sit at the bar or get a table just with your group. Very good prices, easy parking and decent beer and food. Ideal really.
One of the worst experiences. Our orders were served after two hours. I once went up to the counter to check out my orders and why the delay. I was informed that I will have to wait for another twenty minutes. And I was checking when the first hour had passed. Imagine what we all must have felt. I wanted to cancel and leave. Unfortunately the person at the Inn stated, that I was free to leave, but without refund of my advance payment. Too too sad a situation.
Very unpleasant visit. So ordered chips ..£4.10. Please see picture!!! £4.10 REALLY !!!!!!!. Said is this really all the chips for £4.10? Waiter took them back and bowl was returned with a couple more after 10 mins. Soup came. Cold. Sent it back.. returned 10 mins later so my mum ate alone because we had all finished. Pizza for my grandson. Cold. Small breakfast for Husband..cold. I felt so sorry for only waiter on at a busy time. He is a credit to you. So pleasant and understanding. A delight. My visit 22.02.23 time 11.30 am.
Another lovely Wetherspoons place, warm and cosy, very friendly atmosphere, great prices and great food and drink. The chips are simply excellent!
Waited 50 mins when the app said 18. Food was just about warm, and steaks were well done. Bench we sat on was filthy. Better quality in McDonald's
I'm an ex kitchen employee of this restaurant,and I'm disgusted at the continuous bad quality of the there food, esp breakfast!. Scrambled egg with lots of shell. Burnt bacon with newly cooked bacon... Consistent cold beans and toast even though they are under hot plates and heated lift. You Ask for the breakfast wrap to be cooked properly, and they then cook the wrap containing the food making it un-eatibe as the wrap is obviously very over cooked and goes hard. Cold plates even though there is a plate warmer in kitchen. This is when there not busy!!!!!..... There is a food warmer in that kitchen that I belive they relay upon as there incapable of cooking to order. Management are to blame and should be doing regular food temp check, and of food served too.. Disgusting when spoons are rising there food prices!.....
Worst Pub in Bangor. Full of semi naked students that complain if you so much as look at them the wrong way and St***y the Manager is a blatant fabricator of the truth confirming that 'other staff overheard comments' well they must have the ears of a bat because they were at least 15 metres away in a noisy Pub. Food was shockingly bad. Steak tough as John Wayne's saddlebags and a tiny portion of cold chips. Where HAS it all gone wrong Weatherspoons, tut tut tut!! If I'd been Gary Lineker I'd have walked out....
Good food .the portions has been reduced but the quality is good . The best chisp.
Lovely atmosphere. There was no normal milk available for the tea and coffee so when I asked for some they put some in a jug for me as I do not like the alternative they had put out. Very impressed..great service. Good food and it was quick and hot. Will definitely return.
Had breakfast here. Had the scrambled egg on toast. Egg was tepid at best and whole thing tasteless. I never expect much from a wetherspoons but this was disappointing.
