I stayed in the Premier Inn next door and used the meal vouchers. The food was always hot and we got served promptly. Breakfast was fantastic, really set you up for the day. Having a hot meal at the end of each days activities was nice. Booking a table was easy too. Probably best to do this each morning.
I recently had the pleasure of dining few times at this restaurant and I must say that it was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive.The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service.Well done Guys!
Table booked for 18:30 - great, were seated and then drinks order taken and delivered within 5 minutes. Food orders were taken at the same time as the drinks arrived. The food arrived 55 minutes later! Food was ok, but too much. Asked for the bill and was brought and paid for straight away. If the kitchen knows that there will be a delay, the server should come and tell you.
Was perfectly fine. Staff were lovely & really helpful. We were part of a large group of 20 and they managed to get all of our food out in a timely manner.
What a mess. Stayed 3 days in the hotel. Staff were great. But the restaurant a differant story.1st night food ok but the place was freezing so ate with our coats on. On our 3rd night had a long day and thought to give the restaurant another chance as we were tired. But to no avail. Got there time checked at 7.38. Waited to be sat ignored by the barman,then a water comes over and says sorry we have stopped serving 5 mins ago as we are doing staff training. No warnings given. Utterly disgusting service they just did not care.even the staff in the hotel were complaining about the staff in the restaurant. Very disappointed. Perhaps on a positive note they were doing staff training and from what I saw it was desperately needed. Would still swerve this one as I don't think it will improve any time soon.
Little awkward to find, tucked behind the Premier Inn. Friendly staff, good parking, but just found the place a little dated and the food very average. Menu fairly typical for a pub, nothing special. We went there for food, but wouldn’t return
Not to sound like a karen but… it was disappointing. We had to wait 30 to order food no sight of anyone there to let us know about the wait. Then had to wait an extra 1hour and a half for the food to arive and to be honest it wasnt the best. No one came to see us about anything or ask if the food was ok for our liking, went to the bar to find someone to sort this out but no one came to help. When it came to pay i was charged exsta with out my knowledge of what exactly it was for. So in conclusion very disappointing and shamblic.
Very busy when I arrived at 19:30. No tables available.. Had a pint In the bar. Found a free table at 20:00. Ordered food. Starter took 15 mins to arrive. Then main followed 15 mins later. Food was hot and steak was cooked well. Just a shame it's not local Welsh black beef. Over all the staff where polite and food was good.
Location next to primmer inn. Good size restaurant friendly staff members. Good service. Food nice but they have just changed the menu which is a shame because they use to do a superb piza but the new menu is fine.
we’ve just visited on the off chance and just had a really marvellous experience. *price point good *staff “on the ball” and friendly *food absolutely gorgeous *service quick and hassle free Will definitely be visiting again soon!
