Great place to meet up for a drink or a light lunch. Great service with friendly staff. Always a bit of banter going on. Welcoming to all ages. No decor has given the bar a lift with the atmosphere. Highly recommended

I've been a regular in The Imperial for over 30 years now and it's still the best bar in the town - great pub grub at lunchtimes and proper atmosphere.
