We are aware of our responsibilities towards responsible fishing, Sykes Fish & Chips only use cod, haddock & hake which has been sourced from the sustainable fishing waters of Iceland or Barents Sea.

For 35 years Sykes fish and chip shop has served the humble fish supper to families across Swinton and surrounding areas. Despite being a cornerstone of local culture the concept has never been updated until now!

Sykes of Swinton is a friendly family run chip shop with seating facilities for those who prefer to sit, eat and soak in the atmosphere of the shop as the team go about preparing and serving meals.

Since undergoing a massive refurbishment to offer a fresh up-market twist on the old school Chip Shop. The team has maintained the character and excellent quality of his food with a strong emphasis on service and value for money.

You can enjoy traditional favourites such as haddock and cod as well as more local choices, and home made specials! All will be served in a special recipe batter with traditional hand cut chips.
