What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said many times before? The simple fact that the Sweet Centre has been in existence since 1964 speaks volumes for the enduring appeal of this, one of Bradford's oldest established Indian restaurants.

Still unashamedly BYO (and all the better for it - no corkage charges and your own personal beverage choice), the food here is utterly unsurpassed anywhere else in the West Yorkshire curry community. Others may have flashier decor and deeper carpets but, let's face it, you're coming here for the most authentic spicy Indian delights you can shake a perfectly cooked samosa at.

And that's where the Sweet Centre scores over every other Indian restaurant I've ever been to. And, let's face it, I've tried lots. The mere fact that I keep coming back here and - more importantly - use this as my Reference Curry House says it all.

If you're looking for the proper "pukka" curry experience, you've found it. Make no mistake, this is THE BEST Asian cuisine you'll ever find. And I'll happily prove it. Every day. Every week.

Food is good but there is a caveat for a take-out customer - the wait time. It's horrendous, why doesn't the eat in guy serve takeout customers. They might not treat customers this way if it wasn't for them having a monopoly. 45 minute wait is unacceptable. Also consistently charge for sauce. The guy with the beard is strict - he charges you, but all eat in customers don't.

Food & customer service were amazing, however toilets require some work :) 

Other than that, the restaurant is amazing with much history to it.
