For weymouth, this car is half the price to closer Cark Park. Has electric charging ports and public toilets by the roadside.nHas shops close by McDonald's kfc, Iceland. Pets at home.nAlso, have the Swannery birds reserve and beautiful walk around the Swannery.nSummer time Car park will be full.

Staying for a few days - Try Weymouth Train Station Long Stay Car Park. Its just 30 seconds across the road and 1/3 cheaper.nnTrain station car Park is out of sight so not used by many. Their rate is best for short or long term Weymouth Esplanade / Beach location.nnIt's a good spacious car park with path to train station and just 4 mins walk to beach front. Must use 'RingGo' app Location Code: 77516 see last picture 'RingGo'. Can also use APCOA QR code Scan to Pay but they charge more. There is 'NO' pay machines on site so must use these apps.nnI paid £3.40 for whole day up until midnight. Other Short-Mid-Stay carparks by Dorset Council like this Swannery Car Park are free 6pm - 8am which helps for even closer convenience. Before 8am, move car to this train station long stay. No brainer.nnAs of August 2024, Other short-stay carparks by Dorset Council charge 1.50 per 30 minutes, £6 for 3hrs, £15 up to 10hrs during peak summer. Prices reduce ~ 40% from November to end March winter season.nnThis council car parks provides card payment and use of 'JustPark' app. Other Melcombe Regis Car Park is more expensive but a little closer walk, Location ID 6214. 'JustPark' App allows 30 mins for £1.50, then 1hr:01min for £3 and so on.nnIf you're staying a few days, park nearby to offload luggage then move vehicle to Weymouth Station Long Stay Car Park. Its hardly 4 mins walk to main promenade. Via 'RingGo' app we paid £19.50 for 3 days. That's just £6.50 per day so excellent value.nnFound this helpful? Used the car park when I visited the Swannery. But A good place to park to walk the coastal path in that area. The Swannery is well worth a visit. Swans everywhere, beautiful.
I wanted to look around the Radipole RSPB reserve next door and am staying at a local site in my 5.4m campervan. Basically a mwb Fiat Ducato van. This car park bans any campervan or motorhome over 4.8m, which must be most of them. It is an enormous car park and about one tenth of it had vehicles parked up October. I could park within a bay by slightly overhanging a paved area at the rear, but didn't want to chance a £60 fine. So the reserve didn't get a visit.
