Normally lots of places, probably because no one wants to park there. Machines always out of order and don't accept credit or debit cards. . . Inflexible choice of hours when you then pay by phone app. When you do return to your car later it's often surrounded by 'No Waiting' cones - perhaps a further scam by the Local Authority to catch people out. . . .and there was me thinking we pay our Council Tax for services to the public.

This car park is off-the-scale amazing!!! Or it's just a bunch of parking spaces. Could be cheaper but not too bad at time of posting
Plenty of spaces but none of the machines worked. The parking app didn’t let us pay through card or Apple Pay. Had to do it through phone call with about 1.5 minutes of the person telling us it’s quicker on the app….
There are 3 pay machines but mostly people queue at one or 2 and miss the lower one. The queues can be annoying on market day Weds, as people have to input their registrations and it often goes wrong, amazing how many people don't know their reg. On market day Weds, it's cheaper to park £1 for 2 hours atm as the market is held in the short stay so it's not available. If you are buying plants it's pretty essential. If you have a disable pass their are lots of other places people can use for free and closer double yellow lines. Parking is free on Sunday and after 6p. but watch out the attendants are out in force at 8am.
Way too overpriced, it's the main reason people will try to avoid paying for parking in Dorchester and will park on the public roads taking up all the locals parking spaces for their own homes especially on southwalks! I imagine if they were to lower the parking charges to 50p per hour like in Weymouth, far more people would use the car park. Really dissapointed in Dorchester council for this clearly blatant cash grab.

Excellent car park ! Centrally located. Reasonable cost compared to many other city centre car parks.
Free after 8pm and plenty of disabled bays. Excellent
You can usually find a place here. About five minutes walk from town centre. Closes at 7pm, so no good for visiting cinema and eateries in Brewery Square.
