A paid car park in a convenient location near the town centre, with toilets. My stay here was let down by the fact that one of the ticket machines didn't print a ticket after I had paid for one! The machine next to the toilets did print, though.
A great carpark that is centrally located, has toilets adjacent & is very reasonable in parking charges for both short & long stay areas.nnEverything is close by including the shops, pubs & cafés, the famous Gold hill, plus the stunning abbey remains.
BEWARE! If you pay by app it says you can extend your time but then when you try it won't let you. Just another trick these crooked car park management companies pull to get you to pay a £100 fine.
Parked a motorhome here for three hours because you get an extra free hour. Very close to Shaftesbury village and a great walk. Abbey ruins and gardens were good and free. Stunning views. A lovely calming place, we will go back. As we Didn't walk the golden hill.
Was a little wary at first as only had 3.9 stars, but a friend told me to Park here. So here ii am sat waiting on this car park for my friend to turn up. Hopefully this review will boost the car park to a well deserved 4 rating. Its clean easy to park and has lots of spaces.
