Ticket machine been broken for 6 months, then the council announce they have to put up charges due to lack of income! To get more income, repair or replace the ticket machine, to me it doesn’t seem like rocket science.
Do not use unless you have great patience. Tickets not issued. Presence has to be via Just Park!!! Slow, unreliable, faults. LOOK AT THEIR WEB PAGE FOR REVIEWS!!
A useful carpark at the bottom of the town near the Post Office, it also offers the option of staying longer than the Bell street car park which is worth noting if you need that extra time in Shaftesbury, it can fill up quickly.
Nice car park, a bit hilly in some areas so make sure you have the handbrake on when parking!

Central to all visitors areas. Easy walk to the Abbey, museum, church and shops. Beautiful place with great views by the Abbey.
This is a great little car park in the center of Shaftesbury a quite walk to the shops and only £1.20 for 2 hours.
Close to all the amenities and a short walk from Gold Hill.
