Swan Hotel

Have to say we had roast diner and can honestly say was BEST roast I have ever had. Little dearer than normally pay but Definitely worth it. Hotel rooms were lovely, spacious, clean and plenty of condiments. Staff were also friendliest I’ve come across. Dave was so helpful and very, very kind and sympathetic to our reason for stay and kindly upgraded us, just because. I will 100% recommend and stay again Rooms: Size, cleanliness & condiments Nearby activities: Came for rugby!! Food & drinks: Best roast I’ve ever tasted

I have only visited here for food and drink. Food excellent, and good variety of beers on tap, bottles. A personal favourite place now for many years. Staff are always friendly and fun. Highly recommend for dinner, or just a social drink.

Nice hotel. Friendly, good vibe. Food in the evening was great. Breakfast was OK, could be better. Room was comfortable, but they are small. Comfy bed. Good shower. All in all, would recommend.Rooms: 4/5

Lovely food, drinks and efficient and friendly staff. James served us our drinks and food. Everything was timed well. My only moan is about the car park which has no designated blue badge spaces. Luckily I was able to get in the last space near to the back door. I was told the car park is being re-done in February so hopefully some blue badge spaces will be included.

Lovely old building, a bit tricky to get to from the south, but lovely and welcoming. The food was very good and reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly, and there was plenty of room in the car park. I visited my friend who was staying there, so can't really comment on the roomsService: 4/5

Very nice inside. was warm as well. staff were friendly. Didnt eat any food, just had a warm drink hot chocolate which tasted very nice. I will, at some point, return and give the food menu a try.

OK sized carpark at the back of the pub/Hotel. Check in at the bar, not really much info given, receipt is all done though emailing. Room9 ok size ,could have made better use of the room by moving things around as not sure why two bed side tables on top each other ? Same as shower room good size but small shower cubical there is an empty space next to it ! ? Shower itself was ok WiFi good , bed comfortable had a good night sleep. Evening meal good though not much choice on the menu a couple of veggie option didn't see the specials board until I ordered! So wasn't made aware of it . Would I stay again and recommend probably a yes but would like to try a different room and see how that is . It is on a busy road so be careful getting to and from it !!!

We were looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch and happened across The Swan. So pleased that we did as the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient too. Will certainly be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.Service: 5/5

My husband and I decided to call in just for a drink, but when we saw the roast dinners being brought out we decided to order 2 roast lamb. All I can say is outstanding The food quality was excellent as was the hospitality and service I ordered the cheesecake of the day which was heaven on a plate. We will be returning again and again and recommend you do too

We booked a section of the pub area for our car club event. The staff was super friendly and helpful and fast with the serving. Selection of beverages was great. Table service was also mega when we ate before the actual meeting - food was excellent as well.
