They should had warned me of the ultra venus catheter I wouldn't had done it to my pet I still regret it after 6 years of my pet passing. Why that Dutch vet didn't she told me or the staff members when the appointment was book I had the choice to for my pet then to have an injection to sedate it first I will always be angry about it I wished I had taken my baby to another vet!
I can honestly say that I am very impressed with this vets! I've had 2 experiences with them recently which have been fantastic! On the first occasion, I found a terrified Tom Cat under a car on the seafront on the main road. I managed to catch him and called Sussex Coast Vets who said they'd be happy to check for a microchip and take him in. I got to the vets and it was bright and clean and the staff were so kind and caring! They were so gentle with him and they scanned him and were able to find a chip and found he was registered to them and he was reunited with his owner. So a month later when my cat was acting strange and losing hair and my own vet kept dismissing my concerns I went to Sussex Coast Vets and again they were lovely, welcoming and highly professional. They took my concerns seriously, treated him and he is back to his usual self. I registered my cat with them that day and I feel at ease knowing that my concerns and my cats needs are their priority! I feel their prices are reasonable, they are in a good location which is easily accessible by public transport, the reception area is bright, clean and spacious and the reception staff are friendly and engaging. Really glad I switched to them and I'd strongly recommend them to anyone wanting a high quality service for their beloved animals!
Poor duty of care towards animals, they only worry if they are going to be paid first even when we had pet insurance they wanted paying first , poor advice they would have killed our dog if we had not gone elsewhere.

We wouldn't still have our Ivy with us if it wasn't for the fantastic team at all locations. We can't thank you all enough for what you did for Ivy.
It would be nice if they spent as much time examining my dog as they do trying to flog the "extras". Seriously, I saw four members of staff and each one went through the full spiel of the advantages of the Petplan, even when we told them we had already been informed. Like, that's nice and all, but can you just treat my dog first? Two minutes of examining and diagnosing the dog, Ten minutes on upselling insurance = £36.
I have nothing but praise for these from the reception to the vets themselves. I had a Staffordshire bull terrier which had hurt his claw and was in lots of pain. I am on benefits and money is very tight. I spoke to a receptionist called “Joe” who put me at rest and then got me an appointment to see the vet as it was a nail that had snapped in a 45 degree angle, she told me that as long as I can pay the consultation fee of £36 I can then “ go from there with what I want to do about treatment?” I wasn’t made to feel pressured into having to choose them and let’s face it, the nail all be it that it is excruciatingly painful for him, it’s not life threatening! When I got there I got seen at the time they told me my appointment was for, no waiting. To check I asked the actual vet “what would it cost at the worst case scenario?”, because the receptionist at this vets won’t give you any bull, she wasn’t able to tell me until my dog had been seen by the vet where I was told at the extreme maximum it would cost me £150, this was at least £200 cheaper than the only other vets that were open that Saturday, they did say a quote of “ at maximum it could cost as much as £350-400”, but with these vets I paid the wallet breaking sum of £55 .” So I saved between £245 - £295 for the same procedure and I will bet the level of care that both Diesel and I received on Saturday 16th of March 19 at this vets far out weighs the level of care and calming composure that I got given. This settled my nerves and instantly made me feel that this was indeed the the right vets to entrust my precious boy! Do yourself a favour and stop looking for other vets and entrust your pet and your money here in the very caring and capable hands of these vets because both your pet and your wallet will be very happy you did!!!

I have to say how disappointed I am. I feel like I have been completely ripped of. It seemed the whole experience was about money. Firstly I was surprised to be charged £28 to employ my dogs glands which took less than 5 mins. Was then somewhat shocked to return a few days later as the dog had the same problem.
