Mission
OUR ULTIMATE GOALS:
1) To encourage people to come and see The Heat playing live at Surrey Sports Park. With a fantastic dance crew (Heat Street 13), our loopy mascot (Scorcher) and games for the audience in the breaks, the experience is great!
2) To encourage people, especially youngsters, to play basketball. This game not only teaches specific basketball skills and drills but also helps you to become a better person and learn essential life-skills.

The Climbing centre is very good for its size and is great in combination with the sports park facilities. However, the routes for bouldering are not very accessible for beginners - there are not enough easy routes for people starting out. The bouldering section would be excellent if it had more VB's-V3's/V4's.
Great facilities! I attend trampolining, fitness classes and I also use the gym and pool regularly and never have any complaints... Except you have to pick the right time for the gym as it is very busy at the minute.
They provide a nice hardcourt just a normal wooden basketball or volleyball clue suitable for indoor frisbee with good air conditioning and heating especially in the winter. The artificial grass and natural grass pitches are well maintained! To finish it off staff are friendly and helpful.
Always busy after 4pm. You may queue for up to 40min for a rack. Music is quiet and terrible choice, basically a 12 year old girl's playlist from 2010. If you don't have earphones stay at home. Forget about taking gym photos, lighting is rubbish. 6/6 platforms are broken, can't deadlift. Nothing has been done about it for over a year. Seen visitors, staff and members trip over. No matter how many times you complain about issues, just know that they don't care. They just want your money. Was told that as long as there is black and yellow tape near the missing floor boards it's okay. Full of groups of students just standing around not working out. Personal space is not a thing. Hasn't been renovated in over 6 years. Could do with some basic machines available at most commercial gyms e.g. hack squat, abs crunch, lat raise machine etc. Staff turnover is high. Oh and don't forget the creepy dudes just watching you with no shame.
Judo comp there. Much too small to hold a big event like British Masters, but that's the fault of British Judo, not the centre. It's a very nice venue, to be fair.
Dreadful. Nobody answers the phone, website useless. Impossible to view an up-to-date timetable, still showing 2020! Spent ages to find timetable for aquarobic and other activities; gave up. Looking somewhere else. I understand why sometimes it is worth spending more and going private...
Excellent facility. Massive place. Huge upstairs outside seating area by bar. Imagine it's great in the summer. :
They are lucky to get one star, you need to add to do review. Our son joined in 2020 when there were only annual memberships. He's left this gym as it was too costly to get too and they wont refund him a fairly large sum of money. Will be taking further
Visited SSP for the Astolat Model Railway Circle's annual exhibition and enjoyed our "down time" at lunchtime in the Starbucks on site.
Went to watch Surrey Storm Vs Wasps, brilliant atmosphere, not overly big arena good size, fans were encouraging, players great, game exciting. The complex has a sports bar and Starbucks as well as two swimming pools, climb walls, netball courts and other sport activities. Had a lovely time, would highly recommend to the netball fans and sports fans alike as well as people who do sport aka sporty people. Will be attending again
