I've been going to this centre for almost 23 years and I hope I will continue to after the regeneration. •Parking is free and plentiful - if you need public transport it's very good too. •It's clean and bright and fully covered. One of the major bonuses for me is the ability to get to multiple shops in the dry and warmth which was perfect for me as a young mum, a time pressed shopper and now a daughter of older parents. •The food choices aren't amazing but it is serviceable if you're desperate. •The toilet facilities are a little off putting and to be honest I think that is the centre's main drawback. But most public toilets are dire so it is what it is. I can visit at least once a week easily and I now live further away so it really isn't that local anymore. It is convenient and for the time being remains on my shopping roster.

I've been shopping at Surrey Quays for 10 years now, so I have a dynamic view of this facility, and the place has and continues to do well and continues to improve. A lot of credit goes to the owners of the facility and their commitment to the area. As the local community has continued to gentrify and become more populated, the shopping center has kept pace with it's collection of tenants and the type of stores in the facility. To me the mix is just right - moving upscale only as justified by the patronage, but still continues to serve it's original patrons with cost effective selections. It really is a good balance for the area. Another benefit is that there is ample parking and access to/from the shopping center is great whether you drive, take public transport or walk from the local communities. The facility itself is well maintained and clean. It has public restrooms and unisex/baby changing facilities that have always been clean and usable when I have visited. There is a food court in the center of the facility on the first floor that have a number of well known national and international tenants and the prices are reasonable. Lots of places to sit, the security is good, and it's a great place for kids if you bring them along. All in all, it's a very good community shopping center. You won't be disappointed.

Relatively small shopping center with a few good shops. If you want a big choice there are better locations, but if you know what it is you want I guess this does the job fine. It could probably do with a facelift, and the travel connections are a little troublesome, but there is the cinema and bowling nearby so could make an afternoon of it.

A now run-down shopping centre that is generally visited by immediate locals rather than those further out for any kind of shopping. Shops on one end tend to close every couple of months and replace with a similarly short lasting shop. This is probably a result of the regeneration program for the centre and its surroundings. It’s finally about to go!

It's OK if you like this sort of thing. The Duck Pond is very nice. For me Tesco and decathlon are useful stops, and cheap fuel.
