Went over during the weekend and happened to see some vintage stuff being sold! Got myself a very beautiful necklace from one of the stall and I love it. Prices are reasonable and conditions of the items are well-kept by the owners! You can find jewellery, clothing, paintings and others. If you love vintage items, go check it out!
I went there today Sunday,31/05/2026, I love visiting Leadenhall Market, where some of the traders offer beautiful second-hand sterling silver jewellery at surprisingly good prices. My friends managed to get excellent discounts from a few of the sellers, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. One thing I found interesting is that some vendors weigh the silver pieces before agreeing on a price, which adds a sense of transparency to the buying process. It’s a great place to browse for unique finds, and I’m already looking forward to returning there again in July because my favourite seller from Liverpool will be there. I am gutted that I didn’t get her name.
A very beautiful and atmospheric market in the center of London with stunning Victorian architecture. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, it’s worth stopping by just for a walk and some photos. It’s lively during the day, while in the evening it becomes calmer and especially cozy. I wouldn’t come here специально, but if you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth a visit
Leadenhall Market is what happens when Victorian architects are given too much confidence, too much paint, and absolutely no instruction to calm down. The result is one of London's most beautiful covered markets and a constant source of confusion for tourists who are convinced they have accidentally wandered onto a film set.nnThe soaring roof, ornate ironwork and colourful decoration create the distinct impression that ordinary activities such as buying lunch should be accompanied by a string quartet and a minor member of the aristocracy. Even purchasing a meal deal feels as though it ought to involve a footman.nnThe market is, of course, famous for its connection with the wizarding world, and nowhere is this more apparent than the delightful magic potion shop. Here, aspiring witches, wizards and management consultants can browse shelves filled with mysterious bottles, curious ingredients and objects whose purpose is entirely unclear but almost certainly involves either enchantment or artisanal branding.nnThe displays are wonderfully convincing. At any moment one expects a Hogwarts student to emerge clutching a vial of dragon tears, only to discover that it is actually a chartered accountant from Croydon looking for somewhere to eat before a client meeting.nnThe potion bottles are particularly impressive. Some appear capable of granting immortality, invisibility or eternal wisdom. Others seem more likely to cure a mild hangover after an evening in the City. It can be difficult to tell the difference.nnThe surrounding market is packed with cafés, pubs and restaurants, making it the ideal location to recover after spending an alarming amount of money on decorative containers of substances that may or may not contain powdered unicorn.nnA splendid place to visit. Come for the architecture, stay for the illusion that magic exists, and leave with a strong suspicion that your wallet has been subjected to a highly effective disappearing spell.
Absolutely loved visiting Leadenhall Market. The architecture is beautiful, with its historic charm and stunning covered design. Walking through the market feels like stepping into a different era. The atmosphere is lively, with great shops, restaurants, and plenty of photo spots. A perfect place to explore while in London.
