Lots of great food vendors, all the food we tried was delicious and fast and most of the fresh food vendors offered samples to try. Great place to find cheese, drinks, and sweets and fresh seafood, meats, fruits, and vegetables. It does get very crowded so I recommend coming here early
It is a tourist trap, but the good kind. You find all kinds of food here. We tried the popular chocolate-covered strawberries from Turnip, and samosa chaat and bhel puri from Horn OK Please. It does get crowded, so try to come earlier in the day.
Borough Market is exactly what you’d expect it to be: famous, busy, and very touristy, especially over the weekend. The moment you step in, you’re met with crowds, noise, and long queues snaking around many of the popular stalls. It’s lively, energetic, and at times overwhelming.nnFood-wise, there’s no shortage of choice. From fish and chips to paella, burgers, and various street food options, you’ll find plenty of familiar crowd-pleasers. Most of it is decent enough as street eats, but let’s be honest, many items are overpriced for what you’re actually getting. You’re paying for the location, the hype, and the experience as much as the food itself.nnThat said, if you’re willing to look around and manage expectations, you can still find some enjoyable bites. The chocolate-covered strawberries, while undeniably pricey, were genuinely delicious and probably one of the more satisfying treats we had.nnBecause it gets so crowded, it’s important to stay aware of your surroundings. Space is tight, queues overlap, and it’s easy to get jostled while moving through the market.nnOverall, Borough Market is worth visiting at least once for the atmosphere and variety. Just go in knowing it’s busy, not cheap, and more about the experience than exceptional value or standout food.
We went to visit the market in the afternoon of a dull week day. Unexpectedly, the place was heaving. Although most of the stalls were serving food from the whole word, there were queues everywhere, people eating standing, others waiting, it was crazy busy.nBut a part from the heavy crowd, the market, which is covered, is quite attractive and the surrounding full of historical buildings, signage, and other artifacts.nI'd recommend a visit around lunchtime so you can sample Word food.
I had a wonderful experience visiting Borough Market in London. It is one of the best places to enjoy food, culture, and the lively atmosphere of the city. The market has a very special charm, with so many food stalls, fresh products, international dishes, bakery items, chocolates, coffee, and local specialities all in one place.nThe atmosphere was energetic and enjoyable. It is a perfect place for food lovers and tourists who want to experience different tastes in London. Every corner had something interesting, and the quality of food looked very good. The market was busy, but that also made it feel lively and exciting.nI really liked the variety available here. Whether you want snacks, fresh juices, desserts, seafood, vegetarian food, or international street food, there are many options to try. It is also a great place for families and travellers to walk around, explore, take photos, and enjoy the local London food culture.nThe location is also excellent, close to London Bridge and other attractions, so it is easy to include in a sightseeing plan. The overall experience was memorable and different from normal restaurants because you can taste, explore, and enjoy many things in one place.nOverall, Borough Market is a must-visit place in London. It is clean, colourful, vibrant, and full of amazing food choices.
