An excellent experience, every time. Staff are warm, friendly, highly knowledgeable and never rushed. Thank you for understanding the value of great customer service. It works very well for them because we almost always buy three times as much cheese as we intended. Quality of the cheese is very high. Thank you, we'll see you again soon.

Neal’s Yard Dairy was founded in Covent Garden in 1979 by Randolph Hodgson and was one of the first retailers to set up in the empty warehouse spaces around Borough Market in the 1990s. It continues to offer a truly stunning array of cheeses sourced from around 70 specialist cheesemakers all over the UK and Ireland. Many of the cheeses are aged in Neal’s Yard Dairy’s own maturing rooms under the brick railway arches of Bermondsey, where they are carefully turned, brushed and washed until they ripen. Friendly staff and free samples of cheeses.

Incredible cheese selection. My favourite is the Colston Basset. Other blue cheese that cuts like butter, like the Stichelton. If you’re coming on a weekend or before Christmas make sure you preorder or expect to queue to get into the shop. Wine and cheese tastings also available.

A destination when I'm in the area. I took a German work colleague who was impressed. We sampled some of the Poacher and Isle of Mull cheddars and he went home with both plus some Stilton. Helpful staff and top end produce.
