Love this supermarket. The staff are always helpful and friendly. They have 2 items that I can't get in my local supermarket. Chopped soup mix vegetables and the pearl barley, lentils, and peas soup mix. When I visit SuperValu, I stock up on these items.
Great local shop and for the wider community, all your household needs with fresh produce including butcher's and fishmonger. Raheany post office is also located within the store.
Some of the products are out of date,the staff should notice this,I know some of them work hard but there's a woman with Eastern European accent,who works there,who is so loud on the shop floor and seems to be always giving out about the job,that is not very professional,I find her very abrupt and rude in front of customers, needs to learn customer service skills.nNever see a manager on the shop floor ever.nPlease remove out of date products from your floor please.
Getting tired of price checking at tills, some special yellow offers at the shelves but when at the till, it's a different price. Happened 3 out of 4 recent visits. Rectify this please!nUPDATE, Dec.2024: This is still happening! Thinking they're furtively hoping customers don't notice the price discrepancy at the self checkouts. Wasted my time when I asked to rectify it, then was told to go to the regular check out to deal with it behind 2 customers with lots to check out. I'm avoiding this place.
Great off licence, Adam is highly experienced for such a young lad. They do great raffles weekly monthly also in store and on Instagram
