Good value and they have an off-license. Friendly and helpful staff.
Always great lunch options here with both hot and cold food lines where you can assemble according to your fancy. They also have delicious homemade soups, scones, sandwiches both ready made and made to order, full grocery and Frank & Honest shop
Community Alert. This area has become increasingly danger over the years specially at night. This Supervalue store even reduced the opening hours to 10pm since the lockdowns. The anti-social behavior in the surroundings are astonishingly being neglected and we as a community must starting keeping a record and report it. There have been evidenced drug dealings and stealing around this building and we encourage visitors to be vigilant and report anything they see immediately. There is a Garda station two blocks away in front of Busaras, the phone number is 01 666 8000.
DISCRIMINATION. On Saturday the 26 around 7pm I went to buy a WKD Blue drinks. I was a victim of discrimination from the manager. I am a woman of 28 years old and I live nearby. I do my shopping almost everyday in this SuperValu because it is really close from home. This day this manager talked to me as if I am a child. Playing really bossy. I didn’t say anything, I just wanted to pay my drink and go home. She asked me to show my Id. Showing her on my phone, she didn’t even look at it. Still talking to me as if I’m a child she asked me to bring my Id from home. My boyfriend came with my Id. Then she asked my boyfriend to have his. Security didn’t help me because she is the manager so he was afraid about loosing his job. This kind of situation should not happen. This women clearly discriminated me and dissrispected me. So please put clever manager at this post.
I think the shop must be severely understaffed. On multiple occassions food was either moldy or expired a couple of days ago. Pity.
Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Excellent deli with freshly cooked produce every day
SuperValu offers it's customers a nice shopping experience and if I could marry a supermarket, it would be this one. And I think that says a lot. When I was visiting Dublin, I stayed in the great Jacobs Inn nearby. The Kane/McCartney's SuperValu is just a short walking distance away, making it my go to supermarket for all of my needs. Groceries, women's hygiene articles - I promise you that the SuperValu probably offers it all. The things I want to highlight is just the terrific range of baked goods and salads they have. The way they present their products is just so enjoyable and nice on the eyes. I also loved the plentiful self checkout isles. When I'm coming back to Dublin, this would be one of the stops I couldn't miss visiting before flying back!
Honestly I was kind of appalled with the management on display this evening. After witnessing the manager and security guy standing outside smoking, I assumed the store was quiet. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The poor lad on checkouts was run ragged, had no hope of keeping up with the rush. He did all he could but was let down by the people who are there to support him.
very not nice 2 girls. If I see one of them, I don't want to go shopping. They do the favor that they will give you cigarettes. It's not pleasant to push to scan my packet. One time she stepped on my foot and did not even apologize.
Four years ago I said, "I was just there for the coffee, which is great. There is also great seating", which is still true today. However, I needed to revise my review as I just paid 3.85 euro for a coffee, which is a record for me.
