I remember seeing the Lambananas when I first visited Liverpool several years ago. I spotted this one on a map and realised that it was quite close, so I took a stroll up from my hotel, just a 5 minute walk to have a look at it. It’s quite large so you can see it from a distance. There are more lambananas down on the dock, just by the Museum of Liverpool; each one is uniquely decorated so quite a sight to see.

Never knew about this in my life, walked into a gift shop, saw the paraphernalia immediately became obsessed and booked it over to see Super Lambanana in person! Gave em’ a biiiig hug! Absolutely splendid! Also purchased everything lambanana.
Simply iconic. The famous statue that started it all. Symbol of a city. Symbol of a people. The statue that launched a thousand miniatures. Currently showing support for Ukraine.
We went in summer and it was lovely and ripe. Not edible which was disappointing but the size definitely wasnt, was huge. Could almost crawl underneath it! Not high brow enough though, didnt teach us good grammer. like an off peak return but super
A really beautiful piece of art that has added a dash of vibrant colour, and a hint of fun to an otherwise drab segment of the city. Love to stop by here whenever I visit.
