Brilliant little local restaurant , great food , g service on a midweek night with few customers. Atmosphere would be better if more people were in there but was good anyway , chatting to the chef/owner all ways makes things smoother. Recommend this to all , great value for the q of food and wine Kid-friendliness: Very friendly owner who chatted with us after we ate, but didn’t pester us when we were eating.
We'd walked past the new restaurant a few times and finally decided to try it on a Wednesday night. It was good to see a few people already in there dining. We ordered a starter Sucuk Izgara & Lamb Kofte and for mains had Chicken Guvech and a Lamb Guvech Stew. plus wine each. Wow. The food was incredible. Bursting with flavour, and very very tasty, everything was served well and arrived hot. I didn't think there'd be enough for two of us but was pleasantly proved wrong. With the salad and rice with the mains the meals were filling. We enjoyed eating at Sunrise, we'll be back soon!
Recently visited and very worth it! The service was excellent and the food was great! Would recommend the chicken with asparagus, came with rice and salad. Definitely will be back! :Food: 5/5
Chicken was not cooked properly it was pink in the middle and chips were cold. The owner give me loads of abuse and wouldn't refund me he snatched the plate off my table then made me pay for the food before kicking me out shocking behaviour this place needs shutting downFood: 1/5

Absolutely loved this place. Family run, freshly cooked, lovely food. Portions are large & they are happy to box up any left overs to take home. I highly recommend a visit. Very good value for money xx
Delicious food, we’ve only ever ordered from this place. We ordered weekly for over 3 years. One night the delivery was over 2 hours late. We were promised a complimentary bottle of wine by way of apology with our next meal. The next time an excuse was made as to why the wine hadn’t been delivered, we were promised we’d receive it the next time we ordered - unfortunately the next time we ordered it was the same scenario. The Driver apologised profusely and promised it would be dropped off the following night at a specific time. I actually travelled home early from where I was, to ensure someone was in for when the delivery man would be knocking. Unfortunately he didn’t turn up and I received no phone call to inform me that he wouldn’t be coming. It’s bad customer service to mess people around, especially loyal customers. We haven’t ordered from here since.
Great venue, and a true example of what makes Crosby and Waterloo so great. Nice food and brilliant surroundings with very attentive staff. A true "local" business that is worthy of all our support. I will hold hand up and say the Falafel starter wasn't great but the rest was superb olives, fishcake starter, sunrise special and lamb kebab for mains.
