If you are feeling a little peckish before your journey and would like perhaps a nice sandwhich or a drink then don’t under any circumstances whatsoever choose ‘ upper crust ‘ to purchase it. We made that mistake and our empty bellies are now paying the price. I mean literally, where do you start with this abomination of a place. Staff looked like they had been hired from a zoo. Infact that is an insult to the animal kingdom. These people displayed all the enthusiasm for their job as a wet fart trying to escape from a pair of Ill fitting trousers. I was surprised they had mastered the ability to converse with customers in the English language. We asked for two tuna baguettes. They were quickly wrapped and placed in a bag far too small to house them. Then we asked for a cappuccino and a latte. When they came I noticed that the cups felt about a third full. When I asked why to the staff he replied “ that’s just the froth reducing “ . Great I thought, that’s that sorted then. So we get on the train and unwrap our baguette. The first three inches consisted of just dry bread, there was traces of tuna in the middle and the final theee inches were packed limply with a piece of dry lettuce. Thankfully no fish were harmed in the making of this joke of a sandwhich. Absolutely pathetic. Given the choice again, even if my life depended on me eating from here I’d honestly sooner die.

Utterly substandard quality of food. Whoever made this bacon barm has no concept of slicing bread in two pieces and instead just stabbed a hole in and stuffed a lump of fat with a bit of bacon attached to it. Upper Crust? More like Utter Crud

I always say if you are not happy with your job then find another one and let someone else take your spot. The person behind the counter was rude and very inappropriate to my Mum. This was for numerous reasons and the final straw was when Mum asked politely could she have some more milk in her tea she was handed the 5 litee milk carton in a rude manner without a smile or any conversation. Sadly this will always be a busy establishment due to its location, but it will not be because of its rude staff or good coffee!!

Waiting for someone to get off a train so we decided to get a coffee. We bought two white coffees's a fanta and a bottle of water and it came to £18. The two wire coffees were in the smallest cups I had ever seen and they were only filled half way for £3.10 a cup. I'm sick of getting ripped off so if you want a coffee I wouldn't recommend the upper crust.
