Sun Inn

Went two nights in a row as we enjoyed it so much the 1st night. We sat in the bar area with our dogs and was able to book a reservation. The staff were friendly and the food REALLY good. Mushroom risotto was amazing! If you like gin there was a large menu on the wall.

Great weekend stay, lovely room with comfy beds. All areas of the bar and restaurant are very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were lovely and the evening meal we had was amazing, we had the lamb shank, highly recommended. Definitely going to stay there again.

Upmarket prices for very average food, far too expensive for what was being served. Also very limited menu. There wasn't enough distance between ourselves and the next table, this establishment didn't appear Covid Secure. Nice setting but will not return.

Attentive staff, cozy environment, warm and inviting. Food was delicious with portions excellently sized. A bit pricey.

Called in for Sunday lunch and wasn’t disappointed. 3 course menu for £21.95 ... french onion soup with cheese dumpling to start followed by roast beef dinner and sticky toffee pudding ... all outstanding... if you don’t visit this place you are missing a gem.
