This restaurant is beautiful, very oriental and unique. I really like the Indian vibe. My Indian friends said that is pretty authentic. The food we've ordered was excellent!
The one and only place where you get the authentic biryani and other food recipes. Lovely staff, especially sagar is one of the finest person I have ever met. In Liverpool, no other restaurant prepares such tasty food. Please do visit and make your day with happy food.
Loved the vibe of this place and the staff were pretty welcoming. For starters we got the Veg Mix Starter comprising of 2 Vegetable Samosas, 2 Onion Bhajis, 3 Tandoori Mushrooms and 2 pieces of Shimla Paneer Tikka - the paneer and samosas were outstanding - truly screams of Indian authenticity. We kicked off our mains with Butter Chicken and Keema Naan - both amazing in taste and serving size was adequate. We hopped onto the mushroom pulao which was an unexpected surprise. For the dessert, we got ourselves a chocolate fudge brownie and the much craved Matka Kulfi!! I have got to say the kulfi was amazing in taste and a must try although the same can’t be said about the brownie as it felt a bit sticky and mushy. Note: The pot in which the kulfi was served contained a big layer of inedible ice at the bottom, much to our disappointment - meaning the size of the kulfi serving may not be sufficient for some.
We recently visited this restaurant and ordered Saag Paneer, Onion Kulcha and Naan. The food items were delicious. The service was prompt and the ambience was awesome. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Liverpool, I had an amazing time there.
Excellent meal, visited last night and the service was spot on. Staff attentive and friendly, food was fantastic and cocktails were lovely. Great atmosphere and decor. We will be back when we next visit Liverpool.
Visited last night and WOW. We have never been here before but will most definitely be returning again soon. The decor inside is wonderful, very traditional, clean and beautiful. The toilets are spotless, chairs are comfy and the smell around the place is amazing. The staff were all so attentive, they went above and beyond for us. Food and drink recommendations were offered, which we took, and we were extremely satisfied. We had poppadoms, a mixed meat sharing starter, fruity rice, butter chicken, lamb passander and a garlic naan bread. I've never tried butter chicken before and it was unreal, it will definitely be my go to from now on. You could tell the chefs were professionals, as the taste was amazing. The chef even came out to visit us, which was a lovely touch. We also ordered a gin, and a pina colada which were just as amazing. The staff were rushed off their feet with it being a fully booked Saturday evening, but as previously mentioned, they were so helpful, friendly and professional. It's so good to have a traditional tandoori restaurant in the heart of Liverpool City centre, and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you!
A really great experience, lovely friendly staff, food was very nice and reasonably priced well worth the money. I told the restaurant when I booked that it was my wife’s birthday and they brought a little cake and sang happy birthday and it made our night thanks so much and we’ll be back next time we’re in Liverpool.
Loved this restaurant! Great location in the centre , but far enough away from the crowd. Located below street level, in what used to be a jazz club I was told by one of our group! the place has a cozy ambience. Service was excellent! The best bit was the food !Cooked with care ,with some of the chefs fusion food a standout! Well done! We will definitely be back when we are back in Town! Vegetarian options: Great variety.
Booked for Valentine’s Day with my partner absolutely stunning venue amazing service however the only downfall of the night was the spiciness of the food, both our meals were meant to be mild but was extremely spicy which we found hard to finish our meal.
This could have been a great experience. The food was delicious, the restaurant is big and nicely decorated. The downside is that the kitchen closes at 10-30. Our main course was brought out before we'd finished our starter and we had to send it back. I assume it was just kept warm until we were ready. Once we had our main course the staff were just hovering and watching for us to finish. We had phoned beforehand to check on closing routine and were assured that although the kitchen closes at 10-30 there would be no rush for us to leave. Not quite the case. Maybe eating earlier would be a better experience.
