Our new favourite local. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, we came here just the two of us for the first time last night and we know we will now be regulars. The food was unbelievable and the choice was just too good to be true. Our waitress was so genuine and helpful, I felt like we had made a new friend by the end of our meal. We could come back every week if we could and the menu is so wonderful we would have a different meal every time. I’d just like to thank all of the staff there for making it a truly special and memorable evening. We will be back with lots of friends.
Sanskruti is Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant in Liverpool City centre. It is just a few minutes walk from Liverpool One, so relatively easy to get to. The menu is vast and has lots to choose from, our server kindly gave us some strong suggestions which we loved! We had the Daal Makhani which used black lentils with a smokey creamy base, it was delicious. Next we tried the Channa Masala, which had perfectly cooked chickpeas with a flavourful sauce. We also had the Vegan Chick'n curry which honestly might have been my favourite dish! The vegan chick'n was cooked tandoori style which really took it to the next level. The base was just delicious sweet, spicy and tangy absolutely perfect. Then we had Aloo Gobi which was a very close second, everything was cooked perfectly and was just really delicious. On the side we also had a Peshwari Naan which was fantastic. For dessert we tried the Chocolate Heaven which was delicious. The sizzling chocolate sauce worked really well and the ice cream cooled it down to get the perfect temperature. Overall this was my favourite plant-based Indian food I have tried. It is extremely well balanced and there is a distinct lack of oil or butter which means the spices and flavour is the focus. Excellent service and great food, I would advise anyone to come and see how good the food is!
Excellent choice of vegan food or could be cooked as a vegan alternative. Everything else vegetarian. Lots of types of Indian cuisine as well as lots of breads. Also 7 desserts. Looks like a new menu. Very reasonable price too. £24 each including 10% service charge. Had poppadoms, mixed chutney tray, starters, mains, jug of mango lassi was a vegan mango lassi too. Parking: After 6 pm free street parking. About 2 minutes walk from Moorfields station on Old Hall Street.
It's truly refreshing to have dined in an authentic Indian restaurant after a long time. The location is excellent and the staff are courteous. The food is so so finger-licking yummilicious that you have to experience it for yourself. Plus, you get to enjoy soothing music. Definitely recommend it. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and Vegan
Fantastic food! Wide ranging menu with a lot of options. All the dishes had great flavours and the portion sizes were excellent. The service was attentive and friendly.Food: 5/5
Delicious Indian food! We ordered Masala Dosa and Malabar Korma. For desert Gulab Jamun recommended by Sonal who served us this evening. Thank you for excellent recommendation. We are meat eaters and come here by accident, but that was the best vegetarian food we ever ate. I couldn't take a picture because food was gone, it was that delicious. I would come with eyes closed! Amazing restaurant!!
I’m not vegan but I love the food here! Absolutely delicious, authentic food, freshly cooked and served by the loveliest, friendliest staff. Highly recommended this lovely cosy restaurant.Food: 5/5
The only down side is with 1 1/2 hours limit on the table reservation there was no time for dessert and we were politely asked to leave. Won’t prevent us coming back though as the food is truly scrumptious Food: 5/5
The best Indian restaurant experience I’ve had in a while. Proper Punjabi samosa, all the breads are vegan, and a choice of vegan deserts. Delicious and plentiful. The staff are welcoming, be sure to book to get a table. The brownie comes on a sizzler dish with hot chocolate sauce contrasting the cold ice cream, a real treat for a vegan where proper deserts are a real rarity, thank you for doing it right.
The food was delicious and nicely portioned. The waitresses were very attentative as well. I'd definitely go again!Food: 5/5
