Clean, good food, two meals with a pint each for under £18, unbeatable. Always look out for a Wetherspoons for value and The Sugar Loaf was outstanding. Also the restrooms was very clean It seem to have a very young team who seem be proud and enjoy their workplace. Actually 1 of the best Weatherspoons I have visited
Great service. Very quick service, only waited 7 minutes for food. Great cup of coffee over and over again.
Hard not to rate this place highly. I have worked here in my youth, drunk here, gotten drunk here and started many a night out here for the past 20 odd years. Yes it's a Spoons, so you already know the drill, but it feels like my Spoons every time I go in.
It's in the top 5 Wetherspoons pubs I've been to. Unbeatable value for money as always, but also clean toilets from my experience, no complaints about the food and there's even a lesser-known concrete jungle at the back that qualifies as a pub garden! As long as you're not expecting wildflowers, songbirds and tree blossoms, it's a decent offering. Keep in mind the pub is always busy and it's worth ordering from the app if the bar is packed, as the staff seem to favour the regulars rather than the order you arrived in.
Best Spoons ive been to. Sat lunch time very busy. Food was served quick and pipping hot. Draught Doom Bar was a great pint also.
One star today as I stood at the bar for over ten minutes to see someone walk straight up and get served after telling the young lady that in a polit way then I was told to not abuse the staff after explaining I got a apology i only wonted a cup of tea
Had a really good roast lunch. Serve yourself to this really excellent ,value for money meal. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Take the main turn off main road .
Staff friendly, nice place. Food disappointing though. We ordered Chicken and bacon salad and Mediterranean salad. This photo shows the bowl my Mediterranean salad came in - I had eaten a couple of salad leaves at this point. My husband's chicken and bacon was extremely scant on salad too. Previous Quinoa salads I have had have at JD Wetherspoons come on a plate/bowl and were full. I think it was expensive for the food we actually were served.
Had a nice meal at this place but we had to go bk several times to be able to get a table as the back part of the pub had to be closed off to to waterlogging..ended up having our tea there instead of lunch...
Great place, usual fantastic prices and app orders are delivered really quickly. Although it's always busy and packed, we are always able to find a seat somewhere.
