Great little cafe and general store in the heart of this beautiful village. Great service, great coffee. Alternative milks offered. Sat outside with the dogs and enjoyed watching village live pass by.
Absolutely wonderful Sunday roast! Slow roast pork is excellent. They also do a massive family feast with piles of food in the middle for families to serve themselves. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Will be going again :
Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere, they had live music Sunday lunchtime. Food was excellent.
Fab place , lovely team and the most delicious food ! Lovely atmosphere Will be back
The set up was well organised, ie Staff working their way around all the people sat in the garden. However i did find the Sunday Roast a little bit on the small side, but Food was Beautifully Cooked and Served.
excellent food and country pub with lovely beer garden
Booked in last evening as We're staying nearby. The meal was superb! I had the Holy Chuck chicken burger and my wife had the gammon and chips. Thanks to the excellent staff and the new chef Joey. We would definitely recommend the pub.
Sunday lunch was an unexpected delight. Very high quality meats and vegetables, beautifully cooked and presented.definitely a cut above most pub food and the friendly service and well kept beers made it an excellent choice.
What’s great about the Sunday roasts: 1 the gravy - really tasty and plenty of it 2 the slow cooked pork and lamb is really tasty! 3 good selection of veg 4 if you don’t fancy a roast, other good options are on the menu - the Dirty Harry burger is a favourite of my sons! Very pleased this pub is on our doorstep! :
Absolutely lovely lunch. Superb staff. Hope we can come back
