Fun place. Most staffs are nice and I feel safety in here. I always like many flavors of VK. However, just one thing, tequila without salt and lime was bad moment.
Wasn’t let in for no reason at all. We were a small group of 6 of mainly young women. Pathetic bouncers on a power trip. I hope one day those bouncers get a taste of the power they so desperately crave through turning people away on a night that is absolutely dead. Shame on them, honestly a joke.
Halloween night? Not really. Music was decent but not great, my friend got kicked out because she used the male toilets as the female queue was ridiculously long. In the future, it would be beneficial for them to take the amount of toilets available into account and also not kick people out without letting their friends know as it causes issues unnecessarily.
Bouncers wouldn’t let a group of 24 year old women in on an absolutely dead Wednesday night. I hope management know that their small-penised bouncers are costing them money. Maybe if I looked pre-pubescent those bouncers would’ve let me in! Off home to shave!
If I could give no stars I would. The bouncers were very rude to us and wouldn’t let us in giving no reason. We were all sober by the way, laughed at us too. Never had a problem until tonight. The way they spoke to me knowing it’s my birthday was horrific. Even another bouncer apologised to us for his attitude and said there was no reason for us not be let in.
bouncers are on a complete power trip and kick girls out by themselves and then proceed to not let them notify their friends still inside. disgraceful - the bouncers are the worst in edinburgh
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a night club. Bouncer was rude and racist. Would not let us and the two locals we were with in, yet people behind us were let in instantly. Wouldn’t go to this place even if it were the only night club in the world.
As a group of people in their late twenties and early thirties we got turned away because we weren’t “18 - 19”. This was embarrassing and confusing! It doesn’t say anywhere on their website that the club is exclusively for people who are this age. Seems a weird business model to only let in people who are exactly the same age. The bouncers were rude and thought they were funny by suggesting we go to another club that is for older people. Such a shame because the venue is in a great spot! There’s no way that a club that practices such open discrimination can survive in this day and age - especially as their chosen clientele are first year students on a tight budget!! Good luck…
HORRIBLE PLACE We visited This nightclub on Sunday night and were greeted with, “Sorry not tonight! “ by the bouncers. My husband said “Pardon “ as we were both taken back by their greeting as we are both over 40. When we asked why they said that they didn’t have to give a reason, whilst smirking. So rude and arrogant, it really did upset me as I had found everyone in Edinburgh welcoming and really friendly. This was a major exception! Then I asked “Is it because we are too old?” and one of the bouncers nodded! I was livid. The staff here really need to learn manners. Avoid if you don’t want your stay to be ruined!
AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. I’d avoid this place if your not over 16. They were clearly letting in under age girls with no ID checks whatsoever. Bouncers were little pervs taking videos of the girls coming in. The bouncers also think they are really something special and hard lads they couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag lol and think it’s ok to refuse entry to respectable people. No reasons given. Very rude and arrogant. Police informed and local licensing. What an absolute dive this place is anyway. Glad we didn’t go anyway! Owners you really really need to get a grip of your staff.
