Typical normal nightclub. Reasonably priced drinks. Like a mini version of "42 below" in Aberdeen. The following rules apply: treat the doormen gracefully (they're responsible for your welfare and the licensee, not there to spoil your night!), don't turn up wasted, behave yourself, respect others, and err, don't wear a white top. Foxtrot Oscar by 0145, and enjoy the rest of your night.

Hive is a disgusting club. Entry is £6 and it smells horrific, has sticky floors and the “DJs” are just the same random people that know nothing about music playing their itunes playlist. They let too many people in to the point that you can’t move and has rude staff and security. Disgrace to this city. Do yourself a favour and go ANYWHERE but here.

Every local student knows this place. Cheap drinks, good atmosphere always busy and plenty going on. Just be polite to the staff and don’t expect it to smell great (adds to the atmosphere)

Was pretty empty and seems like a club for 16 year olds.

Turned away at the door as they believed that my ID wasn't my own. I am 21 and this was quite humiliating, not helped by rude bouncers. Ridiculous
