Absolutely pathetic. Knights have been taken over by Well Pharmacy. Prescriptions are seemingly not being filled in advance and are only being actioned when you come into the pharmacy to ask where it is. No text messages are being sent - I went in a week after my prescription had been ordered and they started filling it while I was waiting, my partner went in 10 days after she'd ordered her repeat - not only hadn't they filled it, they couldn't find it to begin with. Don't recognise any of the staff from Knights so presumably Well have fired everyone and brought their own staff in. Very tempted to change my pharmacy for all future repeat prescriptions.
Absolutely pointless chemist. Staff usless rude. Never nothing in there what you need. Think there missing the fact there a chemist tbh and actually need health products that ppl need . # avoid go to a proper chemist
Absolutely would not give this place a one staff are so rude big queues waiting time ridiculous no access to medical records when been sent from 111 to pick up my medication no management around to deal with the situation the staff need changing as yuh can see bad reviews first time going will never go again it’s a disgrace
Went to Dr on 4h March 2024 called them on the 8th hadn't received the outstanding medication because they said because of the new system they had NOT ordered it then called them again on the 9th doesn't look like one of the other medications had still not been ordered having to wait even longer either the new system isn't working or the staff are NOT doing there job correctly so I have decided to go to another pharmacy where I know they will do a better job It's the 11th March and I got partial order still missing a few items I called them at 9am and they said I would get a text by 12pm today well its 2 27pm and still no text not a dam thing I'm so so getting mad I have called them 28 times and it rings and then disconnects or I just can't speak to anyone I think this is a joke I'm going to go somewhere else
Long queues, rude staff that look like they don’t want to be there. You have to wait for ages to get your prescription even after they’ve text you to say it’s ready. Honestly the worst pharmacy you could go to
Worse customer service I have ever had Called in yesterday to drop off some medication of my mother in laws who died on Sunday . No customers in and 4 staff behind the counter . Totally ignored me too busy chatting at the back . Occasionally gave me eye contact and never even acknowledged me . In the end I put the bag of medication on the counter and a lady asked what I wanted . I explained and she never came to the counter to talk or offer any sympathy just carried on what she was doing . Think they all need to go on a customer relations course - won’t be going in there again !
Gone downhill massively even more so now the other branch has closed down. Nothing in stock even antibiotics and no urgency about sourcing stock even though for a child, was late on so ended up having to wait until the next day and still didnt arrive. No cheaper products to buy all branded and expensive we are in a deprived area we can't afford them!! Keep a wide berth if you can. I'll have to travel further a field to care for my health were people are bothered and aren't trying to rip me off
Probably the worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune to have to use,and believe me that's saying something! I've used pharmacies in war zones! It's now been seven working days since I put my prescription in and its still not ready to collect its not even been picked! And as the majority of it is liquid food and I'm down to 4 bottles which isnt enough for the rest of today and tomorrow morning things are getting desperate for me! I am now having to go back again tomorrow when I've been assured it will be ready in its entirety, I'll wait and see but I'm not holding out much hope. Could someone advise me on what is a reasonable waiting time for a prescription to be completed here as when I used the knights on Harrogate Road it was three days max. UPDATE:9 days since prescription went in. After calling at the chemist yesterday and getting nothing but a promise my prescription will be filled today I went with hope but to no avail! They managed to supply me with my pills and less than 1/5th of the liquid food I've ordered, saying there's a manufacturing problem and a supply problem, as I get my food from two different manufacturers fresubin and Aymes I thought this would be highly unlikely they both would be having issues at the same time so I contacted both. Only to be told by both companies there's neither a manufacturing issue or supply issue and hasn't been any recently! It didn't help matters either when I could clearly see cases of fresubin on the floor in the chemist shop as well! So now it's obvious that the staff lied to me. You would expect more professionalism from a chemist surly! They now say they will message me tomorrow when it's in? I'm not holding out much hope and believe that's probably just another lie to get me out of the shop! Let's hope they prove me wrong! Update: it's now 11 days since I put my prescription in and still no food! I can only assume they have no intention on supplying me with it and have no option but to report the issue! I will call into the doctors and explain the situation and hopefully he will reissue me with another prescription for the food and I'll have to go to another chemist! This is a clear case of them failing in their duty of care to a client and I will seek legal advice if I can't get my food prescription replaced. I wonder if the management are pulling some sort of scam claiming money from the NHS for goods they are not supplying. I now understand that this chemist has been sold. If the new owners are reading this I suggest that you don't re employ any of the present staff as they seem happy to lie to the customers and you have to wonder what has happened to my prescribed liquid food!
Prescription is never ready, even after leaving it for 4 days. I will not use this pharmacy again, they offer a very poor service.
I'll start with a positive, there is a young chap with short hair who works there who is very friendly, hard working, seems to work at five times the speed of his colleagues and is apologetic when my prescription doesn't come in which is more often than not, so this review does not apply to him. However, the rest of the staff I have been served by are lazy, rude and need a crash course in customer service. There are 2 females in particular who are especially rude. If you want to buy paracetamol or plasters then it's a neatly stacked shop. If you have a repeat order, I'd recommend avoiding as the prescriptions rarely come in. They've had to give me odd numbers as they don't have the right amount and then when I return for the remainder they don't have it. Also, the pharmacy do not stick to their hours, they don't text you when your meds come in and when you enquire they say they have the wrong number gets lame after the fifth or so time you say this. Often when you come in I've noticed the staff just stare at you whilst ignoring you. It's not like they're doing anything either, I've seen more movement from the wax dummies in Tussaud's. On 2 separate occasions I've heard a customer complain about not being addressed. It's easy to just give a "be with you in a moment'. At the very least don't stare at people whilst ignoring them. I sympathise that so many customers complain but in my experience the staff are ruder than the customers and don't seem to realise that people with their medication withheld might just need a "we're sorry" as opposed to "well, its the suppliers fault". On the plus side I did buy a really good blood pressure kit from here once, of course I wasn't foolish enough to test it after trying to pick my medication up.
