Riverside park is a little oasis of calm just next to town. The Bollin flows alongside the pathway and field walks and on this section you can walk from Macclesfield to Prestbury.   It is very popular with dog walkers and runners ( me included ) and is fabulous for spotting heron, buzzards and kingfishers. April to November has long horn cattle freely grazing there too. Just lovely.

Ample car parking. Revently refurbished toilets. Riverside walks by the Bollin. Very popular with dog walkers. Great for quiet meditstion.

Nice river bank walk. BUT watch your step, there's been lots of dogs there before you!!!👎👎
