Beautiful park for walking the dog or taking kids. Folks are very friendly and respectful of dog etiquette. Good amount of open space as well nice shady parts for days such as today.

45 acres of lovely old park land. Constantly being improved- pond now has a lovely fountain, tennis courts, 2 kids play areas, table tennis table, small golf course and picnic benches. Occasionally music In bandstand and sports events for kids. Le Petit Frog mobile cafe used to be in car park Thurs- Sun. Uncertain if they still are. Definitely worth a stroll.

Very nice and well maintained park. Pond area is pleasant, with central fountain. The skate park can be a little less desirable to go near, occasionally youth have smashed glass. Dogs off leash, some can be unfriendly. Just be aware. Play areas for kids. Band stand. Main building in disarray, needs serious renovation. Very cute cafe “food truck” in the car park daily. Good coffee and food. Tables and chairs next to it. Also picnic tables close by.

Large green space with gardens, tennis courts, large pond with wild ducks, geese and swans. The children's area is closed due to Covid 19. The gardens are well maintained.
A clean an tidy park suitable for kids and dog walkers ,with 2 separate play areas ,tennis courts ,and other activities dotted around the park and a lovely pond with good points for feeding the ducks and swans.
