Water was leaking from the roof onto my stuff in the unit, now they don't want to pay for my goods and there basically saying there was no leak, in other words i done it myself, i would never use this company again and i would tell everyone not to use this company, these are the pictures ive sent them and there still saying there was no leak, so am taking them to court
We found Storefirst at Old Trafford to be excellent on every level...: the initial visit to actually see the size of the units, the paperwork really quick and efficient, reserving the units, moving dates because a house sale fell through, picking additional storage, providing recommend and proven removal companies and closing the account with a refund. Nothing was too much trouble, they were brilliant.Can’t recommend them enough.
Rang on the 17/5 and was advised a unit was available and I could reserve it for 4 weeks, Anthony said there was no need to pay a deposit as there was no problem with it. Rang on the 17/6 as no one had contacted me in regards to setting up payment etc and collecting the keys to be advised by an unhelpful lady that the unit is no longer available and that he had tried to call me between the 25/5 and the 2/7 to arrange the unit, I had received no calls in regards to this and I can’t understand as to why they would ring 2 weeks prior and not bother to email me, which he did in the first place when reserving the unit. Woman I spoke with was very unhelpful and didn’t even offer to look at what other units they had to offer me instead.
The staff are great and so friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent and for the long term storage, the price is so reasonable. Really convenient as the reception is manned during the normal working hours, AND weekends. Fully recommended.

Absolute disgusting service by Staff. After renting the unit for one month they send me a reminder to tell me “ I need to make a payment or I will lose access to the unit till the payment has been made “ I spoke with a member of staff and explained I was not aware of this policy as I was told when I first took the unit there is a pay-as-you-go system however that wasn’t the case, with no success I explained, I will be in on my day off and update the payment. At no point in the telephone conversation was mentioned I will occur a late payment charge if I come on my day off to make the payment. I then receive an email with the invoice for late payment charge which I disputed and it was not overturned. I then make the late payment charge and on the same day I go to the unit to retrieve one of my personal belongings and there is a padlock on the unit not allowing me access! Very disappointed. There is a 24-hour emergency number available to call which I called 12 times no one answered... if you do rent a unit please read the terms and conditions and make sure you fully understand the payment method before you commit.
I have dealt with Lewis at the Manchester branch, several times he has been very helpful throughout the process of selecting the size of the unit, a free collection was an added bonus, all the staff are warm and friendly on the occasions I have popped in, the facilities are always nice and clean too. I would happily recommend.
