I had applied @ 09.40 on 17th of Sept for a copd check. Bare in mind I hadn't had my inhalers due to the the copd test I was having and couldn't walk far. I arrived at 09.30 and spent 10 mins looking for parking, by the time I got to reception I tried to book in on the screen which said I was too late. After another 5 mins waiting for receptionist she said I had to re-book the appt and wasn't very helpful. I asked her to phone the nurse which she reluctantly did to no avail. After 41 yrs of being at the surgery previously st Mary's surgery I feel its time to move gp's. Never have I had a problem with this practice before.
I’ve had nothing but high rated treatment from each and every Dr, nurse and receptionist at this practice. I find it hard to believe the reviews are genuinely this low and it’s more likely one bad experience has led to a poor review at the time. Can’t rate all of the staff highly enough. Been a patient here many years
Unprofessional Rude receptionist didn’t book 2 problems so only got seen to with 1 problem have to reboot go back again for the 2nd problem then she refused to boook appointment as I didn’t reveal my personal ailments again in a busy surgery for all to hear as I’d already previously explained in the phone call I had 2 problems having to wait 2 weeks for a telephone call yet again to get a face to face appointment very unhelpful and don’t listen even tho calls are recorded they need more people training very disappointed as it’s gone down hill Ive bene here 30 years now time to move on to better service s
Receptionist staff have no patience with callers all I wanted to do was order 2 things for my son and I got no u have to do it via app but my app is for me not my kids so useless staff
Oh, how I wish I could turn back the clock and zip back in time! Sadly, that isnt possible. But I would like to go back to how it was. Harrowside Surgery. Absolutely brilliant staff. Sadly, that is NOT the case anymore that they merged with the "UNPROFESSIONALS" and "UNCARING" at Stoneyhill. Dr Singh and Dr Charles were both awesome. Even some staff have left the reception for pastures new!! But why do the receptionists all act like they are doctors? When they are not qualified to do that? The friendliness has sadly gone from this reception and its staff. They're all just like Little Hitlers!!!! And they are not allowed to be friendly with their patients on a personal note. It's so tragic the way this surgery has declined. Maybe a new management team is required cos the present one is not fit for purpose. End of Rant!!
One of if not the worst doctors i have ever seen. Could hardly understand English and litterally was only in there for 2mins. I have lump on my face n need to get it removed, the doctor had look told me they only remove them if it hurts or gets bigger. The Hospital doesn't do them anymore unless urgent. Like am I supposed to walk round like frankenstein??? Steere well clear of this practice. I will be looking to get a real doctor.
This doctors is a disgraceful as it took 3 months to get appointment buy by this time i was rushed into hospital really ill. Was advised if the gp practice did their job and the reception people stop acting like doctors i would have not ended up in hospital. Why being in hospital met few other patients from this doctors an all in hospital because reception refusrd for any appointments. Due to the loss of earnings amd yhe stress thos has vaused me and my family. I have starting to take legal advise to sue thos surgery amd the receptionist people for the neglect of a patient. Doctors have a duty of care and theu have failed an left them selfs open for legal action. Hospital has been awesome once got out of A&E but was advised least 50 percent patient in here is due to gps failing their duty of care in blackpool. Stoney hill has lrft me for 3 months in pain to point im in hospital on morphine to try help easy my pain. Hospital did state if these doctor surgery did their job i woupd not br as bad as i am now. This is going above their heads an to blackpool gazette.
Very transphobic they don't respect us at all showed my deadpoll and put mx instead of miss shocking stuff glad I am switching to a friendly gp
Dr Garstang is a good Dr I wasn't impressed with Dr aung although he was good in some ways but not got to the on going situation...
Terrible. And getting worse. Always difficult to get a GP appointment now it's impossible to get even a timely call back response from anyone never mind a GP. Phone unanswered on 6 occasions, once I hung up after 72 minutes. When I do get through receptionists increasingly rude and patronising and the standard reply has become "call back tomorrow" Tried to book Covid vaccination and was told to go to Victoria Hospital.
