Rude receptionists . Can never get an appointment . Phoned to make an appointment and was given one in 5 weeks . How can that be good? .Age 64 and a stroke victim . The same as my partner who has COPD and has to wait 6 weeks for a breathing test .

Worst surgery I’ve ever joined, they never have appointments within a month, the online system is awful and they give such a small window of time to call and request repeat descriptions, I’ve been waiting months for a prescription because I’m working during the times it’s open and when I finally am able to call and ask why my medicine isn’t on my online account they say they’ll fix it by tomorrow, they haven’t and now I have to wait a further 3 days for my prescription.

There are two surgeries at the South Shore Primary Care Centre; and I am referring to the Highfield Surgery, from the time I have registrated there in 1970, I have been treated most courtestly from the doctors down to the receptionists, and even the cleaners. They bend over backward for you all the time. I RECOMMEND "HIGHFIELD SURGERY" MOST HEARTILY.

Mob mentality with the reception staff, if you have a problem with 1 of them, they'll have each other's backs regardless. No people skills at all and are a very defensive bunch. ill-equipped to deal with patients who are stressed because of the lack of communication and information when being told we HAVE to change our appointment. There are 2 types of services. 1 where the manager actually manages their staff and makes sure they're trained well to handle their customers and 2 where they all have their own backs and back their colleagues no matter what complaint is made against them. This place is the latter if you haven't guessed already. We call this a "Free" service but we actually pay thousands in taxes for what feels like a "Free" service. You get what you pay for with this place, that is if we paid nothing.

Doesn't even deserve one star. Receptionists are very rude and obnoxious. Wouldn't ever recondmend here if they want to be shouted at by their reception staff. When complained to the manager she didn't take it seriously and went off track. The manager also felt that it was ok for her staff to speak to me in such a manner it reduced me to tears and that no further action was to be taken. They are not equipped to deal with clients let alone vulnerable ones.
