Beautiful surroundings at old station at Picton. But only opens from 5pm each day.

My rating is based on a comparison wirh numerous really good visits in the past. Hopefully the below par food and service we had tonight is a temporary blip caused by the change in ownership. It was disappointing to have the owner initially assert two meals had been served with peppercorn sauce despite the complete absence of even a solitary peppercorn. Only for her to admit it was a sauce made 3 days earlier by a chef she had dismissed.

Had a meal tonight one meue one sheet of paper 2 meals for ten pound.not a lot of choice. Very disappointed. Never again
