Modern contemporary design and good space. Good location, in Yarm high street. A good selection of Asian food. Tasty food and great cocktails. Staff are very friendly. Can get busy on weekends and a bit noisy at night.
Good food but the service was very slow. On arrival we found they had booked us into the wrong section, so we had asked to be seated in Tomahawk which is quieter and more like a restaurant, but were booked into the bar downstairs which is horribly loud and impossible to hold a conversation in. They sorted it for us easily enough but it's a mistake that need not have happened. We ordered drinks which took 35 min to arrive because someone 'forgot' our order. Good took another 25 min to arrive, so we'd been there almost an hour before we could eat. When we ordered desert it again took well over 30 min to arrive and the coffee we ordered in the mean time arrived cold and had been long since drunk before the desert turned up. There was one waitress who seemed to be running the show while the other two gents stood and chatted to the additional female waitress rather than actually doing anything. If the service had been quicker and there were fewer paused between courses we'd have been really pleased. The food is very good quality and the place is lovely. Sadly we visited while some sad, possibly ex-D-list-celebrity was there eating, making a fuss and talking at a volume that was nearly as loud as his shirt, but that wasn't the fault of the business, and they did apologize for the noise that group were making. Maybe we hit a bad night staff wise, or maybe the poor girl running the show is always the one doing all the work. Whatever the situation, it's worth a visit for a decent meal, if you aren't in a rush.
We had a baby shower there upstairs. It was Sunday so we had Sunday dinner, all components of lunch were sharing and there was no shortage of anything at all, beef was gorgeous ! Drinks were expensive but then they would be wen its double brandies ! Nice relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Cool.
The place is great and spacious. Food is great. Place can get buy and turn noisy night hours which would be the biggest complain I'd have. Cocktails are tasty and worth the price. Breakfast menu has your basic English options. Would be nice to see something more oriental to fit the theme of the place. Would dine again.
Somewhere to try it you fancy something a bit different. Food is a mix of styles from Steak and Ale pie to Asian Fusion via Italian. The small plates selection is nice and good value at three for £10.
I love this place! The food is heavenly with such a range of food on offer. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind and I particularly like coming here as I use a mobility scooter to travel around and this place is extremely accommodating.
We went to the new Tomahawk. Food was decent. Much prefer potto. Just feels like they've threw a few cow print throws in random places and calling it a Tomahawk. Each to their own though, but I like the rustic feel of potto.
Great selection of food and tastes amazing and always served with a smile. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Poached eggs cooked to perfection with brown toast beautifully presented lovely relaxing atmosphere . Highly recommended for a breakfast meeting or with family.
