Service was shocking. Half the staff were grumpy. The young lady behind the bar was great though. Took over 45 minutes before we got a drink delivered to the table and over an hour before food started to arrive, after waiting an hour for our order to be taken. Eating at 10 pm when we'd booked for 8pm is a bit of a drag. Starter was delivered on a sizzling platter, but half of it was cold, and the dining experience from there carried on in that trend with some food piping hot and other dishes like warm. Certainly won't be going there again.

We have visited Raj Bari as a family a few times and I have enjoyed it, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is well prepared. The restaurant inside is deceptively larger than it appears and there is plenty of room for families being seated away from couples which is really excellent and they seem to actually have this as a procedure when being seated as each time we go were along side other families leaving the couples in peace. The only detraction is that owing to some of the seating being out of eye catching distance of the bar where the staff congregate it can be a bit difficult to get another round of drinks or get a waiter without going to the bar on occasion however they were fairly attentive throughout our meal. Overall its a nice place to have a reasonable cost meal on the high street. Wouldnt hesistate to go back.

I have eaten here on a number of weekly occasions this year and as always the food was tastey & piping hot. Chicken balti tonight but I couldn't finish it. Not a problem, I asked for doggy bag. Happy to accommodate me.

The first time we ate in and wasn't impressed. But later on we order takeaways it has never been disappointed. We since order takeaways at least 1 - 2 times a month and we never find any better Indian's than Raj Bari.

The Sunday buffet is the best thing they offer. It beats the main menu dishes hands down.
