I can highly recommend the Staffordshire breakfast, don't be put off by the price, it's worth every penny :-)

Lovely cafe, we had cod and chips freshly cooked with mushy peas. Very polite owner and very friendly. All in all a very pleasant experience. We shall be going again. Excellent!!!!

Lovely staff and lovely well cooked food. Have breakfast regularly and it's never swimming in grease. Always good.

In all of the many times I've visited the Star it's always been to a welcoming reception.

As a member of a cycling club we often turn up with 15 riders or more and service is always excellent. We often joke that Tim must have a secret army hidden in the kitchen and brought out whenever there's a full house.
