I was working in hospitality and hosted a lunch for some of the residents at Stanley Wilson lodge. I was really taken with the energy of the group and how happy everyone one was. It made me want to be involved on a permanent basis and when I was advised they had a vacancy for an activities coordinator I was impelled to apply. 6 weeks in to my new role and I am so pleased i took this opportunity. Its a lovely place to work and the residents are happy and well looked after. All needs are carefully considered and staff are focused on their role. I have a lot to learn but feel I can ask for guidance when needed and have had lots of training and advice. It is clean and bright happy place to be. Lovely garden and so many resources to suit residents and staff. So nice to wake up and look forward to going to work
I write on behalf of myself and my siblings just to express our deep appreciation of the love and care given to our mother since she became a resident in July last year at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden. She has had her ups and downs health-wise but the staff have been wonderful and supportive and we must mention in particular Jess, Team Leader, who was so vigilant in spotting mum's sepsis and other health issues which have required specialist care at Addenbrookes Hospital. Thank you
I am working in Stanely Wilson near about a year , and it’s an excellent experience for me, staff and my colleagues are very nice , I learned a lots of things from here , and especially I want to mention a name of Manager Sue , she is very kind and supportive towards all staff members.
At Stanley Wilson Lodge the teams that support our residents are a very kind and caring team - in all areas of care within the home. The residents are happy and you can see their smiling faces.
Really great place to work! I've been here for 5 years and they have given me so much support and let me progress in my career by allowing me to do my NVQ 2 and now my NVQ 3. The manager is extremely supportive to me and my team members.
