Disappointed! Had not been in the Stamford for a couple of years due to poor meal last time. Unfortunately things have not changed. Sunday lunch very poor. Lamb tough, vegetables uncooked, cold gravy. Expensive for what it was. Staff over friendly asking us at least 6 times from 3 different people if everything was ok. We explained our disappointment. Didn’t seem bothered at all. This is the last time we visit our local for anything to eat.

Great Sunday lunch, made for a special mother's day. Food was excellent and good service. Good value for money. Can't wait to go back.

Had Sunday lunch here. If you like a nice cosy quiet atmosphere don't go to the Stamford Arms as it's quite a noisy place, but It's a family pub so I guess that's to be expected. The food was good overall, although my Sunday roast arrived cold so I sent it back to be reheated. We were also given soup spoons to eat our desserts. The staff were helpful and courteous though and I think we would go back, but maybe at a quieter time...!

Called in tonight for a meal with family. We didnt book but was able to get a table without a problem. Meal was lovely most had the sunday lunch meal. Wish they had a bigger menu of sweets. But on the whole lovely meal.
