The Grey Lady is nestled in Newtown Linford in the heart of Charnwood Forest overlooking Bradgate Park yet less than 20 mins from Leicester. Set in over three acres and with an enviable outside drinking and dining area overlooking the Forest.

Simply amazing! Came here for Saturday Lunch and wasn't disappointed. Skipped starter and went straight into the main, which I had Beef Tail with Fondant Potatoes and an assortment of vegetables. It truly tasted wonderful, with the Beef done justice by being beautifully cooked, medium rare. The sauce that came with it bought it all together and was exquisite. Other reviews say about slow service, this is so as the food is cooked to order. I would recommend booking a table for 12 at lunch as it becomes extremely busy around 12.30. Dessert we both had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and toffee sauce, this was the best I've ever had, simply put it was amazing. Recommend The Grey lady with a fine taste for food. Amazing job by the Kitchen and Front of House Staff, thank you.

Lovely food, great atmosphere, one of our favourite restaurants, never let us down. Been coming here for years now, well worth it. Strongly recommend a visit, whether Sunday lunch or the a la carte menu. Won't be cheap but you won't regret it.
