Trip down memory lane for me, this used to be a regular pub on route around South Shields town centre. Beer on offer was good and the staff very friendly but unfortunately we were the only patrons.
Really great local traditional South Shields pub. Really great atmosphere, welcoming and friendly. Recommend you drop in for a pint whilst in town.Service: 5/5

Owners just back from holiday so some beers weren't on. However, pub was friendly and warm on a very cold and windy March day. Mike and his partner both Orient supporters! Came back next day to be greeted by a enthusiastic "Come on you Os!" Proper pub, could become my local when l'm up here.
A very friendly and reasonably priced establishment. This public house has a legacy in South shields and needs the support of the community to get back to its previous best.
