Small station in the heart of the City of London, good for access to Tate Modern and Bankside, Not fully accessible, though City Thameslink is a good option not far away, as well as Blackfriars.
A huge thanks to the TFL staff at St Paul’s Station who retrieved my credit card after I dropped it on the track getting off the train. They waited until the end of service and kept it for me overnight. So impressed thank you.

Great location in City. Surrounded by shops and cafes. Small station which gets busy in rush hours.
Regular overcrowding at peak times when the poorly maintained and unreliable ticket gates break down. This creates a dangerous situation where the queues back up to the top of the escalators.
Slightly tatty station, very busy but a frequent train service
