Great venue for events and a lovely coffee shop attached to it too. Has a lovely garden/square for you to be able to get some peace and quite.
A relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for meetings. Garden terrace.
Nice vegan coffee stop. Hot and cold drinks along with a variety of hot and cold food. Indoor and outdoor seating at the back. No gender toilets. Reasonable prices and nice quality food and drink.
Great coffee and food! very cozy super nice staff and awesome outdoor space!
This cafe is almost a London secret hideaway. Vegan, tasty and generous dishes that can be eaten in the lovely garden. No need to hurry so have a drink and read your book, paper or other while sitting in the shade of mature trees. À Chelsea Flower Show sculpture has been given to the charity along with native plants. The quiet grassy area has been lost but the addition of the art work adds to the serenity of this secret garden. Prices are good value and the cafe is a charity driven. The venue is part of a lovely Georgian terrace.
The gallery café is super nice and cozy. They display art on the walls all the time. Serves vegan food only.
Love the food here. My favourite is the 2 current Vegan versions of Eggs Benedict. One with a portobello mushroom another with the tastiest Kimchi EVER for me. Lots of cake and doughnuts. It has a lot of space. Especially during warm weather as they have a Marquee and a garden.
Excellent little cafe tucked inside a renovated church. Stumbled across this gem by accident but will definitely be back! The place has a really creative almost bohemian feel to it which makes it seem perfect for reading a book with a coffee or meeting up with a friend. Very good coffee with tasty cakes and a nice big outdoor area at the front and back for the warmer months.
Pretty good cafe..has improved a lot. Nit you can get a lunch/ proper food served until 4pm.
I am very sad to leave this review but I think that this is the only way to assist the cafe at St Margaret's house to decide if they want to continue serving gluten free food, and if yes, to change their processes. I was delighted to see that the cafe has gluten free options. I ordered from the menu, choosing from three GF options listed by the manager of the cafe. When the food arrived, I was not convinced at the first glance that the bread was gluten free so I asked the woman who brought the food about that to double check, and she assured me that it was. On the same plate I noticed couscous but I found it hard to believe that it would be served. Driven with curiosity and also wanting to check for the third time now, I went to speak to the manager. He initially thought I spoke about raisins ? and I think he thought that I did not know that they are dried grapes ? and gluten free ?. Then after a few minutes of repeated attempts to communicate he finally understood me and went out to check our plate. He confirmed my suspicion that we had been served food containing gluten bread and couscous, he apologized me in a warm manner and offered to bring another plate, this time with gluten free option. This was after my son had ingested a good amount of bread with gluten. Sadly, the manager did not want to know the details of how this had happened. He also did not wish to do anything to repair what had happened. I kept explaining to him that their error with serving apparently gluten food would have consequences. I do not think he comprehended what had happened. I was in a shock and accepted the replacement of the plate. In retrospect, I should have asked for return of money and do not dare to eat the rest of the food served. I sadly think that the way this cafe is run currently is not safe to use by people with gluten intolerance. Please note that I discussed GF options at the point of order, we sought confirmation if the served food was GF at the point when it was served and then went on to speak with a manager which this took long before he actually decided to double check himself if the order served was correct. The cafe clearly lacks processes for serving GF food and I struggle to believe that it was the first time such a mistake has happened given the sequence of errors described. I think it is a very lovely establishment that serves vegan food, fantastic place to hang out if you do not have food sensitivities and allergies. However, in its current shape it is unsafe for people who have food intolerance/allergies. I also think that the staff lacks awareness about the consequences of exposure to gluten to a person with gluten intolerance, and also lacks customer skills for adequate repair of the rupture in customer's experience of being served unsafe food. Sadly, I will not use this establishment again.
