Nomadic Community Gardens is a great place, and a really vibrant area, there were 2 teenagers, 2 younger children and a baby with us and I don't know who enjoyed themselves most- adults or children! We also visited the City Farm which was fabulous and watched the graffiti artists who were terrific. We had a wonderful day.
Just go, ideally on a warm sunny day to really appreciate the atmosphere. It's hard to describe how an ecliptic collection of huts, art and alternative inhabitants can be so surreal, immersive, inspiring and yet calming. Bit of a cliche to say it but even when busy it really is an oasis of calm away from the rat race.
Beautiful place, highly recommend, really a location you want to get "lost" into. The less tourists the better though. They serve drinks, but I believe cash only. It is a community garden, so there are lots of "plots" with vegetables and plants.
Very unique and creative space made out of waste and recycled products. It's like christania in Copenhagen
Cool cool place!!! Visit Rowing Caffè super good home made cake and food! The art is beautiful interesting and much more
Interesting place with many artistic creations: sculptures, graffiti. It's totally different than are you seeing in London. Give it a try and check it, it could appear a strange place but you will see it's beauty.
