About

A nonprofit cafe on Brick Lane, we serve coffee, cakes and have free wifi!

Story

Kahaila is a local nonprofit cafe on Brick Lane, we serve gourmet coffee and delicious cakes. Because we are a charity, all profits go into supporting local community projects and other charitable causes.

We are a coffee shop with a conscience, we want to make sure that all our products are ethically sourced and where possible, locally sourced, while still delivering a high level of service and product quality.

Kahaila is a space where community can happen. We want to give all our customers a place to relax, get to know people and enjoy excellent entertainment and new activities.

We want to take an active role in addressing issues that affect us locally, nationally and beyond by allowing people to engage with them through Kahaila. This may be by networking individuals with similar interests, volunteering or simply informing people of current needs in the local area.

Best café in London! Not just because of the delicious red velvet or the lovely staff or the inspiring atmosphere, but because it's also a charity that truly gives back to the community. A must go in my opinion. I'm a big fan!
Nice cafe for a catch up. Pretty good coffee. Lots of space
Large seating area in the back seems good for working. Really enjoyed the matcha latte with coconut milk while killing time along brick lane
Great to find friendly cafe that’s nice and quiet. No loud music. Great coffee.
The staff was very friendly. The price of the beverage and food are fair. Filtered coffee for £2.4 and Cappuccino for £2.9 for example. We sat here for a short break while touring the Shoreditch neighbourhood. The place was spacious and decorated with old school chairs and tables. Was a nice experience.
Delicious Salads, pastries, sandwiches, cakes served all day. Their red velvet and coffee & walnut cakes are heavenly. Great atmosphere to have a coffee while working. Charity and church themed and I love the no-gadget themed weekends.
I love kahaila. I remember when I first entered this place and met Paul the pastor many years ago and he was so welcoming. I consider kahaila my Shoreditch home.
